Abraham Geiger

Abraham Geiger (1810–1874) was a German rabbi and scholar who helped establish Reform Judaism through historical study of Jewish tradition and advocacy for religious change.

Samuel Holdheim: Samuel Holdheim was a German rabbi and radical Reform Judaism leader in the nineteenth century. Holdheim shared Geiger’s reform movement but advocated more sweeping changes to Jewish law.
