Abraham Joshua Heschel

Abraham Joshua Heschel (1907–1972) was a Polish-born American Jewish theologian and philosopher whose writings explored Jewish spirituality, prophecy, prayer, and divine pathos. He also became a prominent ally of the American civil rights movement.
