Academy Juvenile Award

An honorary Academy Award presented to young performers for outstanding contributions to motion pictures. The Academy granted it irregularly from 1935 to 1961.

Shirley Temple: An American child star whose screen success made her the youngest recipient of an Academy Juvenile Award. She received the award in 1935, its first presentation.
