Adirondack Mountains

A mountainous region in northeastern New York, centered within Adirondack Park and containing Mount Marcy, the state’s highest peak.

Mount Marcy: A 5,344-foot peak in the Adirondacks and the highest point in New York State. The region’s highest summit anchors its best-known high-peak landscape.
