Aedui

The Aedui were a Gallic people whose territory centered on the Saône and Loire valleys. Their political relations with Rome shifted between alliance and resistance.

Bibracte: A major fortified settlement of the Aedui on Mont Beuvray in central Gaul. This oppidum served as the Aedui’s principal political center.
