Agaléga

Agaléga is a pair of remote islands in the Indian Ocean administered by Mauritius, about 1,000 kilometres north of the main island. Its two inhabited islands are North Island and South Island.

North Island: The larger inhabited island of Agaléga, containing its main settlement and airstrip. It is the northern half of the island pair and the centre of most services.

Mauritius: An island country in the southwest Indian Ocean, comprising its main island and several outer islands. Mauritius administers Agaléga, despite the long distance separating them.
