Agency

Agency is the capacity of an entity to act intentionally and produce effects. It concerns how actions arise from an agent and how much control the agent has over them.

Artificial intelligence: Artificial intelligence is the field of building systems that perform tasks associated with intelligence. AI raises questions about whether goal-directed systems possess genuine agency.
Attribution of responsibility: Attribution of responsibility is the practice of assigning accountability for actions or outcomes. Judgments about agency influence who is held answerable for effects.
