Agra is a city in Uttar Pradesh, India, on the Yamuna River. It was a major Mughal imperial center and is home to the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal: A white-marble mausoleum in Agra, commissioned by Shah Jahan for Mumtaz Mahal and completed in the 17th century. Agra’s best-known monument stands as the city’s defining Mughal landmark.
Sikandar Lodi: The Lodi dynasty ruler who made Agra an important political center in the late 15th century. His court helped establish Agra’s prominence before Mughal rule.
