Concord : A grammatical relation in which words share features such as number, gender, or case. Concord describes feature matching among words, especially within noun phrases.
Grammatical feature : A formal property of a linguistic expression, such as person, number, gender, or case. Agreement relates values of these properties across different words.
Pro-drop language : A language that permits an unexpressed subject when its identity can be recovered from context or verbal morphology. Rich agreement can help identify omitted subjects in languages that allow them.
