Air hockey

Air hockey is a two-player table game in which handheld mallets strike a puck across a perforated surface, where escaping air reduces friction, toward opposing goals.

Air hockey table: A game table with a perforated playing surface, an air source, side rails, and goals at opposite ends. Its blower pushes air through tiny holes to lift the puck and limit friction.
Bob Lemieux: An American engineer associated with the development of the first air hockey table. His work with Brunswick helped turn an experimental table into the recognizable game.
