Aït Benhaddou

Aït Benhaddou is a historic fortified settlement in Morocco’s Ounila Valley, distinguished by its earthen buildings and UNESCO World Heritage status.

Kasbah: A fortified residence or administrative complex found in North African and other Islamic societies. The settlement’s fortified compounds are often described as kasbahs.
