Akan peoples

Akan peoples are related ethnic groups of West Africa whose languages belong to the Akan branch of the Kwa languages. They include the Asante, Fante, Akuapem, and other communities.

Akan languages: A group of closely related languages spoken mainly in Ghana and parts of Côte d’Ivoire. These languages link Akan communities across regional and political boundaries.
