Al-Baha Province is an administrative region in southwestern Saudi Arabia, centered on Al-Baha city and known for its highlands, valleys, and historic villages.

Unification of Saudi Arabia: The unification of Saudi Arabia was the process that brought much of the Arabian Peninsula under Ibn Saud’s rule. It established the state whose later administration organized Al-Baha as a province.
Juniperus procera: Juniperus procera is an evergreen tree native to highlands of eastern Africa and southwestern Arabia. Juniper woodlands characterize parts of Al-Baha’s cooler uplands.
Hijaz: The Hijaz is a historical region in western Arabia, extending along the Red Sea and its inland highlands. Al-Baha lies near the southern edge of the broader Hijaz landscape.
