Al-Nasir Muhammad

Al-Nasir Muhammad was a Bahri Mamluk sultan of Egypt who ruled three times between 1293 and 1341. His final reign strengthened the sultanate’s authority and reshaped Cairo’s political and built landscape.

Mamluk Sultanate: A medieval sultanate ruled by military elites of enslaved and freed soldiers, centered in Egypt and Syria. The state whose institutions and territorial power Al-Nasir consolidated.
