Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War

Military operations by Britain, France, the United States, Japan, and other Allied powers in Russia from 1918 to 1920, amid the Russian Civil War and aftermath of the Russian Revolution.

North Russia intervention: Allied military operations around Arkhangelsk and Murmansk from 1918 to 1919. This northern campaign sought to secure war matériel and support anti-Bolshevik forces.
Russian Revolution: The upheavals of 1917 that ended imperial rule in Russia and brought the Bolsheviks to power. The revolution transformed an Allied wartime partner into a country at civil war.
