Berber languages

Berber languages, also called Amazigh languages, form a branch of the Afroasiatic language family spoken across North Africa and the Sahara.

Afroasiatic languages: A language family spanning North Africa, the Horn of Africa, and parts of western Asia. Berber languages constitute one branch of this wider family.
Kabyle language: A Berber language spoken chiefly in Kabylie, a region of northern Algeria. Kabyle is one of the branch’s largest and most widely documented varieties.
