Amílcar Cabral

Amílcar Cabral was a Guinea-Bissauan and Cape Verdean agronomist and anti-colonial leader who founded the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC). He led its struggle against Portuguese rule until his assassination in 1973.
