Ananda Mahidol

Ananda Mahidol was King Rama VIII of Thailand from 1935 until his death in 1946. He spent much of his reign abroad and returned to Thailand after World War II.

Mahidol Adulyadej: A Thai prince and physician, Mahidol Adulyadej was the father of Ananda Mahidol and Bhumibol Adulyadej. His marriage and family shaped Ananda’s upbringing and royal succession.
