Anecdote

An anecdote is a brief account of a notable or amusing incident, usually presented as a true story. It centers on a particular event rather than a general argument.

Narrative: A narrative is an account of connected events, real or imagined. An anecdote is a miniature narrative organized around one incident.
Anecdotal evidence: Anecdotal evidence consists of personal accounts or isolated examples offered to support a claim. Anecdotes become evidence when used to argue that an event or pattern is real.
