Ankylosauria

Ankylosauria is a group of armored, herbivorous ornithischian dinosaurs comprising ankylosaurids and nodosaurids. Its members had extensive bony armor embedded in the skin.

Ornithischia: Ornithischia is the dinosaur clade characterized by a backward-pointing pubis and includes ceratopsians, hadrosaurs, and armored dinosaurs. Ankylosaurs belong to this major dinosaur lineage, despite their distinctive armor.
