Anqing

Anqing is a prefecture-level city in southwestern Anhui province, China, on the north bank of the Yangtze River. It is a regional center with a long history as a river port and administrative seat.

Anqing Prefecture: A historical administrative division centered on Anqing in Anhui. The prefecture gave the city its name and shaped its regional importance.
Yangtze River: The longest river in Asia, flowing across China to the East China Sea. The river forms Anqing’s northern edge and has long supported transport and trade.

Anqing Tianzhushan Airport: A civilian airport serving Anqing and nearby areas in southwestern Anhui. It connects the city to regional air travel beyond its river and rail corridors.
