Antony Tudor

Antony Tudor (1908–1987) was a British ballet choreographer and dancer whose psychologically realistic works include Jardin aux Lilas and Dark Elegies.

Jardin aux Lilas: A 1936 Antony Tudor ballet depicting a woman’s farewell to her lover before an arranged marriage. This defining work shows Tudor turning a social ritual into an intimate emotional drama.
