Armoured personnel carrier

An armoured military vehicle built to carry infantry through dangerous areas. Unlike an infantry fighting vehicle, it primarily transports troops rather than providing heavy firepower for them.

Armour: Protective material designed to resist projectiles, fragments, or other damaging forces. Its thickness, composition, and layout determine how well an APC shields its occupants.
