Ashot I of Armenia

Ashot I was the first Bagratid king of Armenia, crowned in 885 after reestablishing an Armenian kingdom that had been absent for centuries.

Bagratid Armenia: An Armenian kingdom ruled by the Bagratid dynasty from the ninth to eleventh centuries. Ashot founded this kingdom and established its royal line.
