Asyut Governorate

Asyut Governorate is an administrative region in Upper Egypt, centered on Asyut city and stretching along the Nile Valley.

Asyut: Asyut is a city on the west bank of the Nile in Upper Egypt and the capital of Asyut Governorate. The governorate takes its name from this regional capital, its principal urban center.
