Augustin Daly

Augustin Daly (1838–1899) was an American playwright, theater manager, and producer who led prominent New York theaters and shaped commercial stage production in the late nineteenth century.

Ada Rehan: Ada Rehan was an Irish-American stage actress celebrated for comic roles in the late nineteenth century. She became the leading actress of Daly’s company and a defining interpreter of his productions.
