Bactrian camel

A two-humped camel native to Central Asia. The domesticated Bactrian camel and the critically endangered wild Bactrian camel are separate species.

Wild Bactrian camel: A critically endangered wild camel species native to the deserts of China and Mongolia. It is the Bactrian camel’s distinct wild counterpart, not merely a feral domestic animal.
