Band of Brothers

A 2001 television miniseries depicting Easy Company, a U.S. Army paratrooper unit, from its training through the end of World War II in Europe.

Stephen E. Ambrose: An American historian whose books include the nonfiction account Band of Brothers. His interviews and history of Easy Company supplied the miniseries’ narrative foundation.
Easy Company: The E Company of the 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division. Its members are the central group whose wartime experiences structure the series.
