Bashkortostan

Bashkortostan is a federal republic of Russia in the southern Ural Mountains, with Ufa as its capital and Bashkirs and Russians among its largest ethnic groups.

Ufa: Ufa is the capital and largest city of Bashkortostan, at the meeting of the Belaya and Ufa rivers. The republic’s political and cultural center lies at the confluence of two major rivers.
