Basketball position

A basketball position is a player's customary on-court role, traditionally classified as point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, or center.

Point guard: The traditional position that organizes offense, handles the ball, and creates scoring chances for teammates. This role most directly illustrates the position’s responsibility for directing play.
