Battle of Greece

The Battle of Greece was the German invasion of Greece in April 1941, which defeated Greek and British Commonwealth forces and led to the occupation of the country.

Metaxas Line: A Greek fortified defensive line along the Bulgarian border. German forces bypassed much of this line through Yugoslavia.
Greco-Italian War: The conflict between Greece and Italy from October 1940 to April 1941. Greek resistance to Italy drew Germany into the campaign.
