Battle of Hilli

The Battle of Hilli was a series of engagements between Indian and Pakistani forces in the Hilli sector of East Pakistan in December 1971, during the Bangladesh Liberation War.

Hilli: A town and border area in northern Bangladesh, near the India–Bangladesh border. Its railway line and defenses formed the battle’s central ground.
