Battle of Lyndanisse

The Battle of Lyndanisse was a Danish victory over Estonian forces near present-day Tallinn, traditionally linked to the legendary appearance of Denmark’s flag, Dannebrog.

Valdemar II of Denmark: King of Denmark from 1202 to 1241, whose reign included Danish expansion around the Baltic Sea. He led the Danish campaign traditionally associated with the battle.
