Battle of Sekigahara

A decisive battle fought in Japan on October 21, 1600, in which Tokugawa Ieyasu’s coalition defeated forces led by Ishida Mitsunari, clearing the way for Tokugawa rule.

Tokugawa Ieyasu: A Japanese daimyo who founded the Tokugawa shogunate after victory at Sekigahara. He commanded the eastern coalition and used victory to establish political supremacy.
