Battle of the Little Bighorn

The Battle of the Little Bighorn was an 1876 battle in Montana in which Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho forces defeated the U.S. 7th Cavalry, including George Custer’s command.

George Armstrong Custer: A U.S. Army officer and cavalry commander killed at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. He led the 7th Cavalry detachment that was destroyed on the battlefield.
