Battle of Zenta

The Battle of Zenta was a decisive Habsburg victory over the Ottoman Empire on September 11, 1697, near present-day Senta, Serbia, during the Great Turkish War.

Eugene of Savoy: Eugene of Savoy was a Habsburg commander who led armies in the Nine Years' War and the Great Turkish War. He struck the Ottoman army while it was crossing the Tisza, turning a vulnerable movement into defeat.
