Beijing Daxing International Airport

An international airport south of central Beijing that opened in 2019. Its starfish-shaped terminal was designed to connect five concourses to a central hall.

Beijing Capital International Airport: Beijing's older major international airport, located northeast of the city center. It shares Beijing's international traffic, making the two airports a coordinated but distinct gateway system.

Zaha Hadid: A British-Iraqi architect known for fluid, expressive forms and large public buildings. Her firm designed the airport's terminal with the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design.
