Knowra Beijing–Guangzhou railway Beijing–Guangzhou railway The Beijing–Guangzhou railway is a major north–south rail corridor linking Beijing with Guangzhou through central China. It is distinct from the parallel Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed railway.
Beijing railway station : A major railway station in central Beijing and a principal northern terminus of the Beijing–Guangzhou railway. The corridor begins at Beijing railway station, connecting the capital with cities to the south.
Canton–Hankow railway : A railway built in the early twentieth century to connect Guangzhou with Hankou, now part of Wuhan. Its northern section became part of the continuous Beijing–Guangzhou route.
