Bellum Batonianum was Rome’s war against the Illyrian revolt led by Bato of the Daesitiates and Bato of the Breuci, fought from AD 6 to 9.

Bato the Daesitiate: A leader of the Daesitiates who commanded a major force in the Illyrian revolt against Rome. His leadership gave the uprising its principal focus in central Illyria.
