Benjamin Netanyahu

Benjamin Netanyahu is an Israeli politician who has served multiple terms as prime minister of Israel, first taking office in 1996. He is the country's longest-serving prime minister.

Yitzhak Rabin: An Israeli prime minister and Labor Party leader who was assassinated in 1995. Netanyahu opposed Rabin's peace policies during the period before Rabin's assassination.
Israeli–Palestinian conflict: A long-running political and national conflict between Israelis and Palestinians over territory, sovereignty, and security. Netanyahu's governments have managed the conflict while opposing Palestinian statehood under current conditions.
