Bicycle Thieves

A 1948 Italian neorealist film directed by Vittorio De Sica, following a father and son searching postwar Rome for a stolen bicycle.

Antonio Ricci: The unemployed father who takes a bill-posting job and searches Rome after his bicycle is stolen. His need for the bicycle drives the search and culminates in his own desperate theft attempt.
