Bindusara

Bindusara was the second Mauryan emperor, succeeding Chandragupta Maurya and preceding his son Ashoka. Ancient accounts associate his reign with the consolidation of Mauryan rule across much of the Indian subcontinent.

Chandragupta Maurya: The founder of the Mauryan Empire and Bindusara’s father and predecessor. Bindusara inherited the throne and empire established by Chandragupta.
Chanakya: A political adviser traditionally associated with Chandragupta Maurya and the founding of the Mauryan state. Later traditions connect Chanakya with Bindusara’s court, though details are uncertain.
