Bismarck Sea

The Bismarck Sea is a marginal sea of the southwestern Pacific Ocean, north of Papua New Guinea and east of the Bismarck Archipelago.

Bismarck Archipelago: An island group in Papua New Guinea that includes New Britain, New Ireland, and the Admiralty Islands. The archipelago lies along the sea’s eastern side and gives it its name.
New Britain: A large island in Papua New Guinea, west of New Ireland and northeast of mainland New Guinea. Its northern shore bounds much of the sea’s southern entrance.
