Bob Ross

Bob Ross (1942–1995) was an American painter and television host who taught landscape painting on the television series The Joy of Painting.

Wet-on-wet technique: A painting method in which fresh paint is applied over still-wet paint. Ross used this method to blend colors and build landscapes rapidly.
Bill Alexander: A German-American painter and television host who taught oil painting and developed the Magic White method. Alexander taught Ross wet-on-wet painting before Ross developed his own television career.
Annette Kowalski: An American businesswoman who co-founded Bob Ross Inc. and managed Ross’s career. Kowalski helped turn Ross’s television success into a painting business and licensing operation.
