Bolesław I the Brave

Bolesław I the Brave was duke of Poland from 992 and its first crowned king in 1025. He expanded the Polish realm and strengthened its standing among European powers.

Mieszko I: Mieszko I was the first historically documented ruler of Poland and the father of Bolesław I. Bolesław inherited the Polish duchy from Mieszko in 992.
