Bolshoi Theatre

The Bolshoi Theatre is Moscow’s historic opera and ballet venue and the home stage of the Bolshoi Ballet and Bolshoi Opera.

Bolshoi Ballet: A Russian ballet company based at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre. The theatre’s resident ballet company gives the venue much of its international identity.
Petrovsky Theatre: The Moscow theatre opened in 1780 and destroyed by fire in 1805. It was the Bolshoi Theatre’s predecessor on the same site.
