Books of Chronicles

First and Second Chronicles are books of the Hebrew Bible that recount Israel’s history from Adam through the return from Babylonian exile, emphasizing Davidic kingship, the Jerusalem Temple, and worship.

Hebrew Bible: The collection of Jewish scriptures comprising the Torah, Prophets, and Writings. Chronicles belongs to the Writings in Jewish tradition and concludes the Hebrew Bible in its canonical order.
