Bowfin

The bowfin is a freshwater fish native to eastern North America, distinguished by its long dorsal fin and a swim bladder that supports air breathing.

Amiiformes: An order of ray-finned fishes represented today by the bowfin and its extinct relatives. The bowfin is the only living member of this ancient fish order.
