Bratislava

Bratislava is Slovakia’s capital and largest city, situated on the Danube near the Austrian and Hungarian borders. It is the country’s political, cultural, and economic center.

Pressburg: Pressburg was the German name for Bratislava, used especially during the city’s centuries under Habsburg rule. The city’s German name recalls its long role in the Habsburg lands.
