Brewster Kahle

Brewster Kahle is an American computer engineer and entrepreneur who founded the Internet Archive and co-founded the web analytics company Alexa Internet.

Internet Archive: A nonprofit digital library that preserves websites, books, recordings, and other cultural materials. Kahle founded it in 1996 to provide broad, lasting access to knowledge.
Wayback Machine: A web archive service that lets users view historical captures of websites. It is the Internet Archive’s best-known system for preserving and revisiting web pages.
